Let me introduce myself... My name is Leanne, a.k.a The Accounts Lady.  I qualified as a chartered accountant in 2009 after completing my training in a medium sized practice in Soho.  In my early career, I became an Audit and Accounts Manager, working across London and the South East, where I was primarily dealing with the statutory accounting requirements of companies and groups.

When I returned to work after becoming a mum, I took the opportunity to move away from Audit to manage a portfolio of Small & Micro-entities and sole traders, assisting clients with their bookkeeping, VAT, accounts and taxation needs.

I set up The Accounts Lady in 2019 to offer accountancy services to Small & Micro-entities and the self-employed in Medway, Maidstone and the surrounding areas of Kent. I believe in modern working methods, using technology to drive business processes forward, so my services are backed by the technology to keep my prices down and to enable me to focus on what matters to you. In this way, a lower price does not mean a compromise on quality - you can access the experience and knowledge of a Chartered Accountant outside of a High Street firm.

Equally, I understand the need to feel like you are in a set of safe hands. I do not believe in a faceless accountant - I am always happy to pop into your office or to meet you at a convenient location, allowing you to put a face to The Accounts Lady. Although technology has its place, it cannot do everything.
